Construction: Heavy aluminium or steel hull, with 3 centerboards - wooden deck, housses and skylights - wooden classic joinery layout furniture - carbon masts and spars with sitka wood veneered - vectran sails with forced battens and hydraulic winches.

Layout: Cockpit for 18 guests - saloon for 14 guests - owners apartment with bathroom - 4 guests cabins with heads - captain and navigation in dog house - crew quarter for 6 men with head - first mate cabin + hostesses cabin + cooks cabin, with head and laundry.

2 Tenders take room on the deck a 13' inflatable one, and a classic but light nice18".

"Fairy-Gipsy" is a spectacular pre-project presented to be modulate following the wishes of the owner, showing what is possible to do today as the most soft and comfortable yacht possible of this size, fast and easy to sail, efficient up wind, with perfect balance in all conditions of sea and wind, faster than any classic yachts existing.

Lines of hull are very classic but calculated to have the less possible immersed area for the best speed possible. Beamy and few draft, the 3 centerboards give perfect balance, all down in light wind for up wind road, half down for beam-wind and high speed, only the bow one down to manoeuvre in harbour with the twin engines, only the stern one down to sail down wind, only the central pivot one in regatta to tack fast… all are manoeuvrable by electric winches from the wheel place.

Very classic 3 masted rig, but totally modernized by high and narrow proportion of sails for up wind efficiency, by carbon mast and spars veneered with sitka wood, by rails and cars on mast, by hydraulic winches, and by "vectran" sails with forced battens… needing a minimum of crew for cruising (a little bit more for classic regattas of course!).

The deck is classic teak planking on ply… beautiful varnished wood for skylight, hatches, housses, hand-rails, etc., soft white paint on vertical parts and deck framing, nickel plated fitting and hardware, mixing classic style with practical maintain.

The layout is done in a very classic colonial marine style: light modern technologies of classic joinery made with the wonderful "cedrela" wood from South America (orange color), creamy white bulkheads and ceiling painting, classic planking on sole, nice clear canvas and leathers, bronze hardware and lamps.

Life organization on board is around a giant cockpit for 18 guests, on deck, 14 guests around the tables for diner (tables and seats are also lightest and ventilation of the under layout), around also the huge main saloon, view on the sea, with diner side for 14 guests and rest side with bar and fire place… The professional galley is 3 steps down close the saloon.
Going down to stern is the passage to the owners apartment: with king-size bed, private saloon, desk, and big bathroom… a watertight door gives access to the up dog-house where is the navigation station and a little saloon, and also the captain' cabin with view and access to the wheel and the deck.
Going down to bow is the passage to the 4 big guests cabins, 2 with double beds, 2 with twin single beds, each one with private head. The crew part of the yacht is in front, with special access from the deck as well by a watertight door in the passage, private cabins for first mate, hostesses and cooks, with big head-laundry, and crew quarter for 6 seamen with head, little galley, an dinner place. Sails boxes in the bow and giant lazarette at stern.

The engine room is under the main saloon with 6' head room, access by watertight door in the stern passage, under the main companionway… all engines and machinery are there, with diesel tanks, pumps, batteries, hydraulic groups, etc., etc. Everything easy to maintain each side of the central passage.

"Fairy-Gipsy" is a dream project, the best possible with our modern technologies and the timeless classic spirit… a 3 magic masted yacht!… Luxurious and comfortable aristocratic "oceanic manor" for gentleman and his guests with good crew services, for seven seas long and fast cruises and classic regattas!…
