“Merry Dream Schooner” is the best design from Daniel Z Bombigher; the Yacht designer of the famous Shpountz of more than 200 were built all around the world and still sailing without any accident or shipwreck, even with many circumnavigations and hurricanes.

“Merry Dream” was the perfect schooner that he wanted to build for himself. Mixing the pure traditional spirit of the marine culture, with the most modern Technologies of construction and equipment.

Schooner of very pure classic style, inspired by the famous early New-Yorker pilots, she is comfortable and fast cruiser. She can be a perfect family-vacations boat also a real nomadic home for ocean passages and long blue-waters cruises.

A big cockpit with the engine under, lot of storage in the bow and the stern the inside volume is all open during the day with a private closed cabin in front at night, a big double bed and a nice head with shower at stern, a complete big galley and a real chart-table, a big and cosy saloon with 2 berths, and the front private cabin.
She is also, because of her size is perfect, the illustration of the speed theory mixed with classic design: strongly built of cold moulded wood and epoxy on laminated framing, she is very light: only 25.000 lbs. full charged, very heavily ballasted with 9.000 lbs. of outer lead, and a lot of sail area in addition to her 3 cruising sails: big light Yankee, fisherman, and asymmetrical spinnaker; giving more than 2.500 sf. of sail for fun, light wind, or regattas She is impossible to follow in a classic regatta and is able to play with the best modern 44' with a good crew of 6 friends on-board, of course!
