the past 30 years, and a lot more of smaller boats, built all around the world,
safety sailing on all oceans with family crews All of them are heavy comfortable,
safe, strong, easy sailing boats, the best for peaceful long cruises and circumnavigations!
- Impossible to design better boats in these sizes, in this style of classic schooners,
for this purpose of navigation, they all have a timeless style and great construction,
ranging as "classic" today.
- The architecture spirit of these boats is not to use tradition as deck and layout
decoration, which would be tasteless, but using tradition as a principle of architecture
and modernizing it by the use of materials and technologies of our time, for modern
purpose and modern people.
- Our ancestors never tried to be classic or traditional, they aimed at the opposite:
to be as modern as possible with the experience, materials, and technologies of
their time, but in a way to stay in harmony with nature and the landscape around.
- Today, we have the same talent and inventive genious as our ancestors, but we
have a lot of better materials, technologies, and scientific experience and so
we can, we must do better, safer, stronger, easier to sail, more comfortable,
and a lot faster that they did, and in the same timeless and harmonic beauty!

- 30 years of experience as naval architect, building schooners, with ocean passages,
races and regattas, gives the possibility to invent, design, and build today bigger
schooners in the same spirit and philosophy, probably nobody around the world
owns such experience today about schooners!
- Comfort, security, autonomy, soft movements, on small boats, in all wind and
waves conditions need a heavy displacement, smaller is the boat heavier must be
the displacement to stay reliable in heavy weather conditions.
- But over 60' the problem becomes very different, bigger is the boat, bigger
are the possibilities to design and build light displacements, and so faster can
be the boat also with perfect comfort, stability, security, and easy sailing.
- Designed with the collaboration of Patrick Balta, specialist of high speed,
light displacements, and computer calculations, this new generation of big yachts
have light displacement, heavy ballasts for enormous stability, modern lines under
the water line, giant sail areas of classic gaff-rig modernized for the best speed
fast, very fast yachts, as fast as modern yachts but in a genuine classic-spirit,
as a normal evolution of the tradition.
- Hulls are of composit-wood-epoxy construction, the king of materials for boat
building, or of aluminium on request; masts are of carbon; sails are of vectran
with forced-battens with a very modern gaff-rig, what is the most powerful and
easy-sailing rig for big boats Decks are of classic wood-work, layouts are classic
joinery of beautiful light woods, inner decoration is classic marine colonial
style.
